Hogan Suite
“Self-awareness involves deep personal honesty. It comes from asking and answering hard questions.”
Stephen Covey
The Hogan Suite consists of 3 separate assessments
Hogan Personality Inventory- HPI
Is a measure of normal, or bright-side personality – qualities that describe how we relate to others when we are at our best.
Hogan Development Survey – HDS “The Dark Side”
Describes the dark side of personality – qualities that emerge in times of increased strain and can disrupt relationships, damage reputations, and derail our careers.
Motive, Values and Preferences Inventory – MVPI
Describes personality from the inside – the core goals, values, drivers, and interests that determine what we desire and strive to attain.
These assessments can be taken individually, but combined they provide a wealth of insights into the person as the assessments inform and support each other.
Hogan is different because:
It can be used to predict job performance (unlike other traditional assessments such as Myers Briggs and Insights Discovery) by measuring basic employability, work style, ambition, drive and organisational fit.
Although only completed by the respondent, the HPI and HDS are constructed to deliver results which correlate closely to the responses that would be expected from a 360° feedback process. This is particularly useful when assessing external candidates where a 360° process is not possible. It also has the benefit of being quicker and cheaper to administer than a 360° assessment.
The HDS “The Dark Side” assessment is unique in its ability to accurately predict the leadership and career derailers inherent in someone’s personality.
As with the EQi 2.0 assessment the Hogan tools provide measures of behaviours that can be changed through leadership development and coaching.
