Talent Management
"Anybody will do for you, but not for me. I must have somebody" - Abraham Lincoln
For some time now Talent Management has been a hot topic in boardrooms around the world and it remains so today. Whilst most major organisations have some form of Talent Management process in place it is also true that many find that their systems are not living up to expectations and a significant number of newer or smaller organisations have no effective Talent Management process.
The CIPD define Talent Management as:
the systematic attraction, identification, development, engagement, retention and deployment of those individuals who are of particular value to an organisation, either in view of their ‘high potential’ for the future or because they are fulfilling business/operation-critical roles.
As Extole’s business focus is on developing Experts into Leaders we are uniquely placed to help organisations identify, understand and develop their future leaders from the talent already within their organisation as well as assisting in the selection of external talent.
Specific areas in which we can provide support are:
- Designing Talent Management processes
- Advise on Psychometrics
- Administering Psychometrics
- Participating in assessment centres*
- Providing coaching to future leaders*
*To avoid any conflict of interest, if we were involved in both these activities with a single client we would ensure that different members of the Extole team were assigned.
